Ginny thought she knew how bad it was going to be this year. She thought she understood that it would be worse than when Umbridge was in charge.
She quickly learned that she knew nothing.
Between the crushing worry about Harry, the looming fear of punishment, and the constant pressure she put on herself not to fail, it was no wonder that Luna found her curled up in the corner of the Room of Requirement sobbing.
“You can take yourself to another place,” she crooned as she held and rocked the younger girl. “In your dreams. Let me show you.”
