I don't know how the prompter got this idea, but dang if it hasn't become my new favorite Crack!Pairing

The sound of a familiar set of footsteps coming into the library pulled Malificent from her reading. The flash of pale skin and black feathers had her looking up at one of the few men in all the worlds that could match her height.

Their eyes finally meeting after her’s meandering travel up his delicious darkness, and she saw the hesitation in his eyes. In the months they had become lovers, the pair had slowly come to learn each other’s ways.

“Is something Wrong? Did one of those boys show up again?”

“No Darkness, its not one of them. It seems my younger brothers have heard of you and have decided to visit.”

“Brothers?” All right, so perhaps she hadn’t learned everything yet.

“Yes, Brothers, triplets in fact; Loz, Yazoo, and Kadaj. Also, I believe they brought Mother with them.”

His Mother? Fantastic-“Any other relatives?”

“None alive. In any sense of the word” He told her.

“Well then, let’s not keep them waiting.”

They had been waiting in the entry way, She had expected to notice the woman right off the bat, but instead saw no one but the trio of silver-haired boys-no, young men in the room. The largest was somehow playing wit a quartet of shadows like a pile of puppies. The tallest was examining a painting of one of her fellow witches. And the shortest was looking around as if he was trying to see everything at once-and carrying something under his arm.

“Brothers, this is Malificent. Mal, this is Loz, the oldest,” The same eyes as Sephiroth, but short hair that went up and back like demon horns, and the Dark whispered of strong emotions and a stronger body. “Yazoo, the middle,” Moonlight flowed down past this ones shoulders and the Dark spoke of an ice-sharp wit and an even better aim. “and Kadaj here is the youngest.” With silver locks that partially obscured his face, the Dark told of Sephiroth’s reflection.

"And this is Mother!" Kadaj happily held up a black, metal box. "She's very pleased to meet you, too!"

The polite smile never leaving her face, Malificent's eyes flipped over to Sephiroth’s long enough to see his nod before reaching out to the box.

“And I’m quite delighted to make her acquaintance as well-” The lightest touch sent a razor-like shiver down her spine that had her slamming up every Mental and Planal shield she had. Her full hand on the box and whatever was inside struck, a slimy ooze of power that probed every finger width of shielding to find a crack.

The moment after the power struck, the Dark acted. Power poured into her shields, strengthening them to the point that they became unbreakable. At the same time, filled with so much Dark inside her, it parted in her mind and she Saw. Bits and pieces, flashes and whole memories. At first of a very familiar-looking silver haired boy, then of three little ones, locked away in a world of glass and steel.

What felt like an hour was only a heartbeat before the Dark closed in her mind and the power began to retreat back into its vessel. Whether they felt the power struggle and approved, or simply liked that she was willing to touch ‘Mother’, Kadaj’s smile became a little less forced, and the other two behind him relaxed subtly.

What she didn’t have to guess at was the knowing and proud glint in Sephiroth’s eyes as he watched her withdrawal her hand from the metal container.

Now knowing what the other’s power tasted like, Malificent sent a very minor wave of Darkness at the box.

‘That darling, was a mistake’

“Boys? How long are you planning to stay?”

“We were thinking a couple days?” Kadaj made it more of a question than a statement.

“Nonsense. You four haven’t seen each other in how long? You may stay as long as you like. In fact, knowing you’re from the same blood as Sephiroth, no doubt you four are dying to get out there and spar or kill something. Am I right?”

By the look on the Loz’s face, she had just gone up in his estimation.

“Go on, I’ll keep your Mother entertained while you’re off.” Kadaj shot Sephiroth a look, and after his encouraging nod, gently handed over the box.

Malificent took it just as gently, and tucking it into the crook of her arm waved at the hall leading out to the back fields. “Go on now, we’ll find something to do while you catch up.”

Returning to the library, Malificent placed Jenova’s head on the large central table. Then, instead of returning to her reading, she slowly went through the room. Chairs scooted back to their tables, books floated to their shelves, an occasional servant was called to take something to another room, until slowly the room was set to rights.

It was only after she had felt their power blazing for quite some time that she finally sat down in front of Her.

‘You and I’ She Sent to it. ‘Are going to have a little chat, Darling.’
