Nami and Usopp were watching the Regularly Scheduled Fight between Zorro and Sanji, and enjoying the breeze that was steadily cooling the boat.
Seeing Nami’s thoughtful look, Usopp raised an eyebrow at her. Nami replied by nodding at the two and saying “This is going to sound odd, but it’s almost like they’re having sex, don’t you think?”
It took about three heartbeats for what Nami said to really sink in to Usopp’s brain, which was followed by a mental twitch as he looked back at the pair. Watching them, he could see the easy back-and-forth, could see how they were pushing things as far as they could without breaking the ship, could see how their eyes watched each other far more than they did any other opponent.
Okay, he could see where Nami was coming from, but Usopp really didn’t need to be thinking about his Nakama like that.
Especially ones that looked that good without a shirt on.
