Thickly Sown with Thorns.
“Life is thickly sown with thorns, and I know no other remedy than to pass quickly through them. The longer we dwell on our misfortunes, the greater is their power to harm us.” Voltaire

“I found a princess,” Xigbar says as he plops - upside down - in front of him. Xaldin decides that the effort to cut him with his wind is not worthy when Xigbar would just duck and keep on pestering him just because he could, so he stops his katas, knowing better than to try and ignore him, not when it's obvious he wants to say something.

At least this time, it seems to be concerning towards their general interests. And if not, well. He'll make sure not even his abilities will be enough to miss his lances.

“Of the heart?”

“Well, she has a really big one, I'm sure, but no,” Xigbar says, grinning. Xaldin blinks and then Xigbar is standing in front of him, a wicked grin over his face. “She's locked in this castle. And she's friendly. Real friendly.”

“And?” He doesn't glare, too used to Xigbar being like this. “Does she have anything to do with our mission?”

“Not exactly,” Xigbar grins as if he knew a secret, but at least he knows better than to try and drape himself over him when he's annoyed. He still slides too close, too personal, the way Braig and Dilan used to be, sometimes. It makes him frown. “I just thought that since the kid hasn't come back from his mission and that bastard Luxord cheated and kept my best whisky, you'd like coming with me.”

He glares. They're not Dilan and Braig to be friends; whatever it was that happened then is of little consequence now. Not when they're missing so much.

Xigbar laughs, loud and grating. “Okay, don't say I didn't ask.”

Xaldin follows the trail, anyhow, perhaps out of curiosity, what remains of the scientist that Dilan used to be making him want to be sure that there's nothing that they could use, something to aid them. Or perhaps, if the princess really has such a huge heart, maybe see about turning her into a Nobody, too, perhaps.

However, when he's up the thin tower and gets inside the tiny window via hair thrown down as a ladder, it's obvious that Xigbar was talking about the size of her tits. Xaldin feels like rolling his eyes as he sees Xigbar fucking this girl on her knees, her tits pressed against the mattress, ass up on the air so that Xigbar can fuck her like a bitch in heat.

Then the girl looks up at him from beneath the shiny, glossy curtain of her auburn hair and Xaldin raises an eyebrow at the ruin that is her face; she probably had been pretty, once, before those scars had happened, marking most of her face and arms and who knows what other part of her body.

“Friend of yours, Xiggy?” the girl asks between a moan, pushing herself up on her arms, thrusting back against Xigbar's cock. She moves slowly as Xigbar looks up, a wicked grin over his face.

“Yup, babe,” Xigbar grins and leans down, chest pressing against the back of the girl, grabbing her around the waist and drag her down until he's kneeling between her legs and his cock is deep inside her pussy. The princess moans and throws her head back, and Xaldin follows the line of her hair and the old gashes that are over the ivory of her skin. Xigbar moves a hand up and pinches a nipple, growls against her ear. “Xaldin, meet Rapunzel. Zel, Xaldin.”

“Pleasure,” Rapunzel gasps, eyes gone dark and heavy and she grins something lazy and old that is vaguely familiar. “Are you here to play too, handsome?”

“Shouldn't there be a prince here?” Xaldin asks, even as he jumps inside the elegant room, going towards the huge bed, barely paying attention to the way half of the girl's hair remains tied to the window with darkness, making her a prisioner.

“There was a prince,” Rapunzel says, shrugging, but something terrible shifts in the empty expression of her ruined face and Xaldin thinks that she's probably very close about not having a heart. “And now there isn't. Now. Do you want to play, too?”

“Let her give you head,” Xigbar adds, still grinning. He nuzzles against her neck and the woman gives another low, deep moan as if she was hungry for it. “Seriously. You won't regret it.”

Xaldin rolls his eyes and he thinks about leaving since there isn't any reason for him to be here, not now that he knows the truth. And still, there's something about the way Xigbar looks that makes him remember Radiant Garden and there's anger then, and Xaldin takes off his coat and lets it fall down, moving to the bed and pushing his trousers down his hips, his cock half hard.

“Gorgeous,” the woman says, but he's looking as Xigbar looks at him, even as the hot wet warmth of her mouth envelops him, delicate hands over his hips and Xaldin takes a deep breath as she swallows around him until his cock touches the back of her throat.

Xigbar, actually, doesn't stop looking at him, and eventually Xaldin reaches for his head instead of the girl's, curls his hand on the white-black tail of Xigbar's hair and he pulls hard, baring Xigbar's throat as if he was going to bite, was he able to reach. Xigbar moans at that, fucking Rapunzel harder, faster, Rapunzel groaning even as she wets his cock with her slick tongue, her hands kneeding at his thighs. When he pulls at his hair again, grasping it tightly between his fingers, Xigbar barks a laugh, grinning and half looking at him with his head bent like that and Xaldin curses him because he remembers and, if he could, he'd hate Xigbar for that.

So instead he thrusts inside the woman's mouth, looking at Xigbar until he feels his balls draw tight and he comes, pulling away the second he's done almost violently, letting go of Xigbar's head, picking up his coat and calling forth a portal before he even catches his breath, not turning to look at Xigbar when he calls his name, ignoring the moaning Rapunzel and the tail of her braid.

He doesn't need this, nor the way most of them are too busy being idiots about what they used to be, what they won't be. Memory won't help them reach Kingdom Hearts.
