Summary: Saitou and Sanosuke have an interesting relationship. Of sorts.
Prompt: July 9-51. Rurouni Kenshin, Saitou/Sanosuke: Dominant Saitou and rebelling (but secretly enjoying it) Sanosuke, beloved enemies - 'mine whether you want to be or not'
Stubborn
It was not something they did around the others. Sometimes Sano wondered how much Kenshin got, but if the man knew anything, he said nothing.
Not that it mattered. It wasn't anything that it seemed Saitou or Sano could control. It was vicious, violent, and yet one other thing they argued about constantly.
"You are mine, whether you want to be or not," the policeman would snarl, usually after pinning Sano against something in a way he couldn't fight. Sano would respond with various speculations on Saitou's family lines.
Sometimes Saitou won their little battles with each other, and it was a rough, violent act that both men would snarl and attempt to injure each other through. Sometimes Sano won, and they circled each other until, eventually, Saitou won once more.
It was stress relief. That's how Sano tried to think of it. He hated it, though he found that when the other man did manage to win, to pin him down and take what he wanted, something relaxed.
He would deny it always, but he wasn't dumb. Just stubborn. But just because he might have liked it didn't mean he was going to give that bastard of a man the enjoyment of knowing it.
