Title: Hideous thing inside
Author: keinerlei
Rating: PG13?
Warnings: Just a bit of swearing.
Word count: 253
Summary: Schuldig gets wrapped up in work. (Prompt: Weiss Kreuz, Aya/Schuldig: Predatory desire- "I want you so bad it hurts.")
A/N: OP, I'm so sorry. I have a whole lotta notes and bits but also a whole lotta plague. This is the biggest part I could isolate that made sense on its own. I'll still try to finish the whole thing when my brain is working again; if you like I can post a link.

In his dreams, Fujimiya Ran smells like rage and regret, pain and sacrifice, pure as gasoline. Schuldig wants to roll around in it like a dog. They’re all fun, of course, with their melodramatic troubled pasts and their yearning for justice, truth, and self-worth. But Ran is something special.

Ran is like something from a legend: a disciplined, honorable warrior with a pledge, refusing to rest until Justice is achieved. He’s a knight in shining armour, wounded warrior, troubled hero. It’s so very cheesy it warps right back round to touching. And underneath all that control sits his heart on his sleeve just waiting to be poked at, like a hot button down to his murder instincts.

His first impression is that Fujimiya Ran wouldn’t have lasted five days in Rosenkreuz. His second is that Ran would have fought his way to the top and stopped only with his sword buried in the hearts of the Elders. He might have made a good member of Schwarz, under different circumstances.

Schuldig wants to get at the gooey center of him, the lava core in the middle. He sifts through self-doubt and despair, the thinly-veiled disregard for everyone who makes the mistake of not being his sister, all the little delusions that keep him going. Ran walks like a lone wolf, but Schuldig can smell his mongrel mind from across Tokyo. He is spectacularily fucked up and Schuldig wonders - from a purely professional standpoint - what he can do to make it worse.
