Prompt: Fushigi Yuugi, Chichiri/Tasuki: road trip - we'll take this never-ending journey together.
Warning(s): Possibly OOC. Set in the modern world. Profanity. Too much philosophical pondering? Title is not necessarily connected to the story. I chose because it sounded good. If you’re expecting slash, you’ll be unavoidably

You're probably the only person who really enjoys the more obscure of my stuff too.
(I just logged out off MSN - must because I have a paper to write, so I can't come online to chat now because it's major distraction D: Butwecantalkhere XD)
They are cute guys - very. I'll honestly say that it's probably them who made this series truly good for me. Glad you liked this; it's such an odd piece, I think because it's a bit more honest than what I usually write.
A few lines feature issues that I myself worry about/often think about.
And I really just wanted to write bromance too. Yeah, I think the prompt was intended to be more romantic, but I think it works this way as well. I feel that, in general, people write too little fics that have guys being close/intimate ... without them having sex.
Not that slash is wrong, per se but, sometimes, it gets boring *shot*
Especially in your icon. And Orlando Bloom - damn you'e such a pretty boy too
EDIT: Gosh, I can't use proper English today, apparently.

I love bromance. It's what UST is usually built on for me)) In canon, that is. ;))
I only find badly written slash boring. XDDD
Who needs proper English? XDDDD

Oh yes, for me too - UST is love. I love writing it because you can either make it awkward, explosive or very, very sexy *shot*
Hmm, yes I do too. Badly written slash is always boring ... especially when it happens without proper character development and guys are interested in each other for no apparent reason at all.
LOL. We are English Majors. We shouldn't say such things!

I really agree with you there; the friendships in Fushigi Yuugi and characterisation keeps bringing me back to FY too. I'm the same age as you - and yes, FY definitely feels very real.
I might no longer be as impressed by the romance, but the friendships are definitely real.
I really enjoyed writing this, so thanks!
