A splendiforous use of the second part of the prompt, I dare say - loved the last line and the story that led up to it, and very much enjoyed seeing Ryo take charge. *g*

Aww, thanks! I think FAKE is probably the crackiest series I've really liked, and for me, it's mostly about the chemistry between the two of them. I feel like smacking the stuff out of most of the secondary characters ... .

Yeah, I didn't buy the chemistry, wasn't that into the art, and as a lawyer and resident of the NY metro area, couldn't accept the premise that these were two NYPD detectives.

I have a high tolerance for crack, though, as you know, because I ♥ Gravitation. Though I often felt like smacking some of its (main) characters. Then again, I feel that way about Saiyuki sometimes (mainly, but not entirely, about Sanzo).

He, he, lovely. You really caught the cotidianity of their relationship and still made sweet. Loved the imagery in the elevator and how you described their expressions there.

I'm glad you liked the mirrors thing! I'm always struck by how, in elevators, you never really want to meet anyone's eyes, and yet there are these mirrors all over the place in most of them. So it's hard to get away from what anyone's face is doing, including your own.

And I'm so happy you liked the story!
