Tom on Tour
It appears that Tom Waits, when scheduling his current tour forgot to add West Coast dates. I know he said he needed to play Kentucky and Tennassee because he needed to pick up some fireworks and someone down there owes him money, but I would think that he could play out here... right? So now, I am trying to figure out if its even possible to travel for one of these shows. Cheap airfare. Yeah right. Thats even if i could score tickets. His shows sell out in minutes. People fly from Europe over here to see him. But it would be a fun little solo trip. Find a seedy cheap motel, buy a bottle of bottom shelf burboun, wander around town looking for the club. I've known for about a week now that he was going to announce dates.
