My son is 20 months old. 20 months. On this trip back to Canada, I have seen the monster of gender indoctrination and socialization at work on him (already?!?!?), and MAN does it shock and enrage me. So far, it has taken the form of this 'gentle' chastisement from a variety of sources: "brave" boys don't cry when they are hurt, scared, or sad.
I want, so much, to protect my boy from this bullshit.
