[Fic] Nana: A Day in the Life

Apr 11, 2006 16:18

Spoilers: none
Disclaimer: Nana belongs to Yazawa Ai, who is my favoritest mangaka in the world except possibly maybe Minekura Kazuya, and I love it to pieces and everyone should read it.
Notes: This was originally going to be a Christmas present for Mely. Then it was going to be a birthday present. Now it's just sort of random.

You like the way the table looks when it's set for two )

fandom: nana, fic

May I squee? Because I must. *^^* It reminded me of the vibe I get from thr series. (And just like that, I'm back to being torn about whether to read more Nana or Saiyuki. Ack!)

Squeeing is never unwelcome ^_^.

And thank you! I'm really glad you liked it!

And ohhhh.... being torn between Nana and Saiyuki is tough indeed, though they do have very different moods. But yes, my two favorite manga!

It's the first of your stories that I've read! I came back and glanced at the notes for the Saiyuki stories earlier today, but I think I'm going to hold off until I catch up a bit more. ^^

*fidgets* All of the manga downloading right during the new anime season canNOT be good for me. (And I just indirectly ordered my first hardcopy volume of Saiyuki--a friend emailed and said he needed another $10 on his Amazon order to get free s&h. Timing! I wanted vol. 2 of Nana, but Amazon is being a bitch about it, so it loses.)

OOooooo Saiyuki! It's so worth it to get the hardcopies. TokyoPop's translation for Saiyuki is really, really good, and Minekura's art is so lovely that it's nice to be able to flip through and ogle.

Oh, eeee. This is so full of little, lovely details, and I just want to move in with them. :)

*grumbles at US publishers not getting later volumes out faster*

Thank you!

Yeah, can you believe it's already out to 15 in Japanese? Sigh... must find my dictionary and struggle through them someday.

Apparently it's new. And ruffly.

...

"Sun!" she says.

This is just so sweet. Reading it made me feel all warm and happy inside.

I now realize that I forgot to put Nana on my poll. I knew I had missed something.

Aw, thank you!

You should totally bring Nana with you! In fact, I cast a vote for it now!

So sweet!

(But I was confused by what you said about cross-linking in your regular journal -- do I need to friend springgreen to see your fic now, or is it just going filtered in your other journal?)

Thanks!

Oh dear, that was rather unclear, huh?

I'm just going to keep posting fic in this journal, along with assorted fandom-related things like recs or... who knows what else crosses my brain. I'm just not going to post things in the regular LJ that link over here every time it's updated. But yeah, no need to friend if you don't want, pretty much everything in this LJ is public.
