Doctor Who Dishes Sell Out in 15 Minutes
Technical Difficulty Does Not Halt the Rush
Atlanta based purveyor of specialty art goods Third Half Studios LLC were taken by storm recently after posting a new dish design in their online store. Even though there was a minor technical problem that restricted sales to Georgia only, the store still sold completely out of stock within 15 minutes. Because of the Thanksgiving holiday, the manufacturer is unable to supply a new batch until after the November 28th, at which point the dishes will be available to the general public, and not just Georgians.
The wildly popular design, part of the Whoville collection of offerings, is based on traditional Blue Willow china, but features the TARDIS, Daleks, and a pair of figures running. So far the design has only been made available in melamine, though Third Half expects to offer the same design in china soon.
