(no subject)
In honor of the 4th of July, I was going to write a long and involved post about the positive and negative influence of the United States on the world, and what the world might have been like without the United States, but then I realized that this would be a lot of work and that I probably wouldn't know what I was talking about anyway. Therefore, I will simply note that I had an interview yesterday for a good archives job with the same organization that I am currently working part-time for, and that it seemed to go well. I hope that I made a good impression.
I will also note that it wasn't exactly the best 4th of July weather - cool and cloudy, turning to rain - but that I did get to sleep in, which is both a good thing and a cause for embarrassment (sleeping late does make me feel a little guilty sometimes).
Also, I need to get back to exercising more.
