General Update
Mom is OK most of the time at home, but her pain attacks are still sometimes too strong for the medicine to really control. Dad has taken an extended period of leave from work to stay home with mom - one of the advantages of having worked 27 years for the federal government is that you can can accumulate a LOT of leave without having to use it or lose it each year. I am going to classes, working a little, running errands, commuting, and periodically succumbing to my lifelong tendencies to procrastinate and overeat.
That's really all for now. Occasionally I think I have a great idea for a post here, something profound and meaningful, but then it either slips out of my mind, I don't have time, or upon closer examination it turns out to be something completely uninteresting and unimportant.
