Winter Olympics
In the spirit of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics which just kicked off this morning, here is a pic of the BC Place where the opening ceremonies were held.
The opening ceremony was impressive. The projections beings made on the floor was really cool and it enriched the story being told about the First Nations and the history of Canada. KD Lang's performance was suberb. I never knew she sang that well (I was a kid during the height of her popularity in the early 90s). Also representing Canada were singers Bryan Adams and Nelly Furtado. To be honest, I was half expecting Celine Dion to perform but she was nowhere. Hehe, you can't talk about Canadian singers and not think about Celine Dion.
