asdfjkhlasdjf oh my god. This is fantastic. I want to quote all the perfect lines to you, except then I would be copying and pasting the entire fic into this comment. I am sitting here giggling and flailing and I can't stop. Here, I'll try to pick a few of my favorite lines out of the general amazing brilliance.

"The hatchet and chainsaw contrast nicely with the origami." I died at this line. I had to stop reading in order to compose myself enough to work the mouse. Hatchet and chainsaw. Origami. Oh my god. YES.

Inui snapped his head around to look at Fuji, but his expression was nothing out of the ordinary. "How did you know I'd taken data in Atobe's bathroom?"

"I didn't." Fuji turned to look back at him, eyes wide and full of laughter, and Inui had the oddest sensation of his glasses being completely transparent for approximately 2.3 seconds. "Ii data, Inui." YES YES YES. I'm bursting into laughter now that I'm reading this over again.

"I like chemistry," Inui mumbled, stupidly.

Fuji's eyes glinted green in the dying sunlight as he stared straight through Inui's glasses. "And I like reactions." SO MUCH YES. Every exchange between them, every interaction, every bit of characterization is so spot-on.

The notes. The text messages. The apple pie. The website and directory names. The fact that Inui can access Atobe's roof. The information he gives Nanjiroh. Inui's realization that they're dating. The other pairing hints!! THE ENDING. akjsdhfasd this comment is so stupidly long already. I love you, anon-san. You are amazing, this fic is amazing, and I'm going to go and reread it again now. askdjfhad this WAS the Best Fic Ever. If you had any idea how many times I've read this since it was posted... I haven't been counting. I should have been. Inui would disapprove. :| BUT ANYWAY. Every single time I read it I start shrieking with glee again. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much.

...and um. I have this thing, where if someone writes fic for me, I feel compelled to write them fic back. So, no pressure or anything, but if you feel like coming up with a pairing/prompt/scenario...
