LOL, that's so completely true. Also, when i got to VERMIN PAIR i totally cracked up.
and Kaidoh drew a picture of a snake swallowing a frog.
oh kaidoh. you're so earnest. It's fun to watch him get really worked up about something like this, since we don't see too much of kaidoh really wanting things, other than to improve himself.
and some sketches of tennis racquets, tennis balls, and smiling mice.
ehehehehehehehe.
Kohai Training Manual was written on the cover.
oh man i so need that manual. AMAZING.
Rivals! and making out, and that is all to the good.

And the fighting was the whole reason I started this back when. I wanted a story where Momo and Kaidoh were back to back in a fight, rather than fighting with each other. ♥ And, yeah, Horio. I could write thirty more stories about Kaidoh and Horio, I love their dynamic so much.

I loved this. I absolutely loved this. How did you manage to nail the characterization for everyone so well? I loved Echizen leaving because they were too noisy, Eiji being bouncy and creative and not taking "no" for an answer, and Inui being too basorbed with his data to really notice anything else. I loved the shiny medals and Fuji's party and Tezuka's strong, virtually silent presence.
I loved Kaidoh's instincts and pride and desperation. I loved the snake/frog/slug analogy. I loved Momo's loud, cheerful buoyancy and his willingness to forgive Kaidoh. I loved their first random, awkward makeout session. I loved Momo telling Kaidoh to imitate the bullies and then changing his mind because they gave up too easily.
Yikes! Okay, so, umm, yeah. Wonderful. Thanks! :)
