Spriggan at the Plaza
Spriggan played the Plaza Pub in Arlington last Saturday. It was great fun! A big thanks to all our fans, both old & new, that came out to this new venue to hear us. And another big thanks to owners Ed & Joe for having us. And, of course, to Jeanine, the maid behind the bar, for keeping us in good spirits throughout the night.
We went on at 8:00 and played 'til Midnight. During a few pieces, there was even a bit of dancing! One of the pub regulars asked Michelle, our Chris's wife, to a dance and later on in the evening, turtliewings did a bit of step-dancing. At Midnight, after our last set, the crowd demanded an encore that we were only too happy to play. Then Joe led the pub in a toast to us. We will certainly be back to the Plaza sometime soon. Hope to see you all there again!
The next gig is at Lochrann's Irish Pub on New Year's Eve. More to come on that.
