so i'm crunching, this project for aca 115 - for some reason all day yesterday i felt like the weekend was already over, that it was monday. odd.
also - usas (united students against sweatshops) does not have an active chapter anywhere within a hundred miles of here. which.. ah, i want a good indignation outlet. it's pretty, well, hard, to start up a chapter and pretty, (seemingly) pointless at a community college. i don't know, maybe i should start networking with people over at unca, seeing as unc-chapel hill is already affiliated with the wrc... and this is asheville, after all.. there's, there's got to be some kind of stirring, right? i will..., i don't know what i'll do. i still haven't heard back from the national office - i, ah, blah.
i really want a good fight to fight. i want a little solidarity movement happening in my life, some excitement and a good cause.
and i'm a college student now, this is what this is all about. if this entry sounds a little bit like floundering, don't be mistaken. it's only my words that are unclear.
