I saw this Sarah Ruhl
play at Woolly Mammoth in Washington, DC, a week or so ago in "pay-what-you-can" previews right before its official opening night. Highly recommended--and it has just been extended until July 8. A woman in a cafe sees a man die, picks up his cell phone and starts answering it, and becomes intertwined with the people who were in this man's life. The play is wildly inventive, surprising, funny, and with some fabulously pithy lines.
