If you are needing an insurance quote, you can help Great Danes.
Not sure how long this is going on, but if you are shopping around for insurance, you might get a quote from GEICO.
One of our volunteers has a terrific idea to help bring more money for our danes. As an employee of Geico, they have what is called an Employee Referral Program. For every legitimate quote for insurance coverage, $10.00 will be donated to MAGDRL (Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League). [I actually have my car ins. through GEICO now-- not an endorsement necessarily!]
Here is how it works:
Call Geico at 1-800-342-9070 to get quotes on the following:
- Personal Automobile
- Homeowners, Condo, or renters insurance
- RV or Travel Trailer
- Motorcycle
- Commercial- small business light vehicles with no more than five units
- ATV
When you speak with the representative provide them with Promotional Code - 080053. If you are getting more than one quote, you will need to advise each representative from each department with the promotional code.
Once you have received the quote/s email our volunteer Jill Black personally (lv2grtdanes@aol.com) and provide her with your name, address and phone number, and what you received a quote for. For example - If you called and got a quote for Auto, Homeowners and Motorcycle insurance, that is $30.00 for our rescue.

So please look over your current coverage. Are rates skyrocketing? Does the coverage you have meet your needs? Give them call and see if they can provide better coverage for less. It can't hurt, and it helps the rescue. Just make sure you spread the word. This is not limited to MAGDRL members. Let your friends and family know, just make sure you give them the promotion code to give each representitive.
There are few rules - You can not have gotten a quote from Geico in the last 12 months. However, if you have an auto quote and did not know that Geico carried ATV insurance, then use the promotional code, because that counts.
