I love the dog's-eye shot at the Vet, also the shot of Birdie with the statues. Too bad she wasn't interested in them, that would have been fun to see! And the last shot of Rufus is great!!

This reminds me, I need to make a vet appointment for Adam.

Thanks, Sara. Adam is doing fine!! He just needs a rabies booster shot. He is 5 ½ years old and just as rambunctious as ever!!

aren't "they" saying dogs may not need the rabies shots as often as they thought before? or was that some other shot?

I had not heard that, but it wouldn't surprise me. I have been getting reminders from my vet about his rabies booster since early last Fall. I have been putting off his vet appointment all Winter until work picked up and more money started flowing in. I hate being poor!!!

Also, I wanted to make sure he had his shot before I bring him up to my camp in the Adirondacks again. There are bats in that area that could carry rabies.

well then maybe this'll be the optimal time for him to get his shot then. i met another fabulous lab yesterday at a friend's house. will post about it soon. no labs directly in my life now. :(

i'm not incredibly knowledgeable about this stuff. have just started to think about it. i read that some vets use a rabies vaccine that's meant to be used every three years. others have a test to see how much the previous vaccine is still working. i don't even know my own dogs' status in this dept.-- i just got what was recommended for them. birdie got a bordatella vacc., which vets say you shouldn't bother with if you don't board the dog. they do, however, go to dog parks.
