Howard Zinn on current Prez election

"Voting is easy and marginally useful, but it is a poor substitute for democracy, which requires direct action by concerned citizens." --H.Z.

After that quote, however, I still want to indulge in the drama of last night's debate. Hillary shouldna shouldna shouldna said that about xerox copies/Obama's supposed "plagiarism." That was so lame.

But she was speaking the truth there at the very end. Was the standing O for her, or for both of them?
