Jaycar Electronics
This is another logo redesign like the one I posted before, but this time I kinda had this font idea that I wanted to use. The idea behind this was a circuit board and how the lines look on them. Originally I did have circles on the end points of the lines, but I dropped those.
I also wished you could change the angle of the end cap stroke in Illustrator. so you can get some 45 degree ends on them. In the end I had to put a clipping mask around them to get those cuts.
Anyway this is probably a bit too dramatic of change for a logo redesign, so not sure if I should do something more similar to the Jaycar current logo. I'm also not too sure about the Electronics text on the bottom. Was hard trying to find a font that worked with the type design I did.
