04.09.14 Киев, перед офисом Вальцмана-Порошенко: "Мы собираем деньги людям и на армию..., а они поставляют гнилые патроны..."
Ukraine: Furious protesters besiege 'thief' Poroshenko's Kiev office.
Man shouting (in Russian): "Look! That is how Yanukowych guarded himself from us. And now Poroshenko together with his thieves guards himself like that."
Man shouting: "Kudrin has stolen from the people. And they are building this in silver. Why? From whose money? From those whom they are stealing from. I among others - we are getting 100 hryvvnias and we are sending it to the people and for the war. And those shameless [officials] have quit entirely ..."
Man shouting: "Every time I am getting my 100 hryvnias, I am sending it to the injured. We are collecting money for the army. And they are sending rotten bullets!"
Demonstrators gathered in front of President Petro Poroshenko's office in Kiev, Thursday. They are protesting against what they see as the failure of the government to reinforce troops surrounded by anti-Kiev fighters in the east, and the poor quality of army equipment.
A pensioner started shouting and accused Poroshenko's government of stealing the people's money. He said he had saved money to send to wounded soldiers and the Ukrainian army, saying the government was sending "rotten bullets."
Fighters of Ukraine's "Azov", "Aidar" and "Dnepr" national battalions had earlier called for the protest to take place.
