My favorite group is the non-mainstream, rock & heavy metal band, Dope. They've been around for close to seven years, have 4 albums, tour every summer, have a decent size of hard-core fans, but choose to stay "underground." I've heard them MAYBE 3 times on the radio really late at night, and they had one [edited] music video air on MTV, but the frontman decided not to do it again. I love their lyrics and music obviously, but the band members themselves are great. After shows they almost always hang out with fans for hours on end, and I got to meet them all last month! Very cool and down-to-earth. It only makes them MORE likeable. ;)
