Schoolies
Got Back from schoolies week today, Tuesday at like 5:00 pm, here is full summary.
Tuesday:
Got down to victor at like 6 pm after meeting mum at myponga for coffee (she was on way back from carrickalinga). Had the first of several bbq teas as it is Howletts main form of cooking, but thats chilled, i can make other meals. Did nothing tonight as noone else down, just chilled out.
Wednesday:
Went to shops to buy food supplies, bumped into some other pembroke people who we know (Liam Sam Robin) was cool to know they were down. Bought mostly fruit and veggies today as we realised we did not have enough. Fridge is hell well stocked now, fully set. Visited the blokes we saw at the shops in the afternoon and hung aroung with them and a few others living near them that night.
Thursday:
Few more people around the town part of victor. That night we watched family guy episodes on the lawn of someones house and then came home, but noticed that there were people milling around out the front of out house, they were chicks so we introduced ourselves, they were our next door neighbors and there were 8 chicks living next door, and they were going to come round and play pool after they had been for a walk. So we dashed inside, rang liam and robin to tell them to get there asses round, 3 mins later they drove up the driveway. They just flexed it here. The neighbors came round to play pool and pingpong and we got to know them, pretty cool folks.
Friday:
Tash and erica dropped round today to hang in the morning while they waited for their house to become available, went to goolwa beach with howlett and he got quite burnt. I went to petrel cove in the arvo to explore the rock pools (teeming with interesting things). Tonight some people went into town, had some of the boys round for a drink and to play pool and cards. Kempy also came down today. (we played a game called Warlords and Scumbags, good fun). The neighbors also came round for a bit to hang and ask if we were going into town but we weren't.
Saturday:
Tash came to stay tonight and brought a linden park friend of hers Tuhc [pronounced took]. That night we went into the festival, but we had to walk most of the way, a frikken long walk, the bus was full, dang it. Danced in the big tent a bit, talked to people who we knew and watched a bit of starsky and hutch in the movie tent.
Nita - If you were wearing what looked like a walford rugby top and skirt in the movie tent thingo then i saw you but i cant be sure, but im fairly sure i recognised the girl who took cams to your formal from the photos and the wearer of the rugby top was the tallest in a lanky (lol no offence) volleyball player sort of way.
Laura - I know i saw you leaving the movie tent, but you had some bloke (im assuming the bf - george) attached to you, so i didn't come running madly over as i didn't want to cause trouble, or embarrass myself by not being recognised. Anywho went home at like 1:30 and made milos for the girls staying with us (tuhc stayed the night - "her house was too full" - in actual fact she just wanted howlett [in my opinion of course]). Kempy had gotten misplaced and i watched the rugby until he turned up, then he went to visit the chicks next door (it was 3 am) but they were in bed.
Sunday: the Big day, howlett was playing the set after joel turner in the telstra big tent. the whole year level of pembroke was going to be there. Also monique was coming down (shes a good friend of howletts, i didn't know her before schoolies). Mon and i had backstage passes to the telstra big tent as both moral support for howlett and i was writing down the tracks that he played and she was taking photos. Before we went we did tequila slammers and drank as much as possible in the space of 20 mins (6+ std drinks), by the time we got into victor, i was feeling it and quite talkative. Met joel turner and took a photo of him and howlett, took some green room water, watched joel turner's set, watched the crowd go totally apeshit for howletts set, waved to people who saw me in the crowd. lol when monique was onstage the crowd started chanting Fit Fit Fit Fit (shes hot), so i made her get onstage to dance, crowd loved it.
Went back home and talked about the set until 4am.
Monday: got woken up by people taking photos of me at 9am (apparently i look funny when asleep) thats fine but don't wait till i open my eyes to use the FLASH. Darn you monique and co. saw off monique and tash. Just chilled about the place, had some people round, pretty much all day. Then went out to have some beers with the boys and watched southpark and American Pie on the tv and chill for a bit, then we walked back to ours and met up with the girls to shoot some pool, but they were going into towns but there were differences of opinion and it wasn't pretty. At like 3 am Emily came back round and 'pounced' on us(her word for a spur of the moment visit). Took a bit of getting rid of, they are just around the corner so i walked her and claire home and then came back to go to bed
Tuesday:
Woke up, packed up and came home, gave kempy a lift, and here i am now.
