(no subject)
Today I woke up to an overcast day
filled with thought left-overs.
As the microwave zap reheats the previous day's
mental steak the smell is all too familiar.
I remember exactly all the ingredients that
tenderized and infiltrated my last good meal.
But like anything, the new-ness is gone, half the juice
has been zapped out, and my motivation to finish is
exactly where it was last night....
Anywho...Its been nice being back in Murfreesboro for the past couple days. I went back to Germantown this past weekend and stayed for the longest since Christmas. Its funny, the nice part was I spent more time just at my house than anything else. The only night I went out I went with Tommy, Brian, and Jason (G-town Jason) to see the Sunset Symphony downtown. I got to see some awesome fireworks, which is cool since I'll be out of the country during July 4th. This will be my first (possibly only) July 4th outside the US, this may prove to be interesting.
Where will I be I just know you're all DYING to know...yes yes, I'll be in Ireland and Scotland visiting for the 1st time. My true 1st experience out of the country, I did go to Niagara Falls in Canada, so technically I've been away, but this is truly going to be AWAY for me. It's going to be cool because as many of you know I'm 95% Irish and we're tracing the family crest! It will rule...and don't worry, I'll drink enough dark beer for all of us, and you will like it.
