as promised to Orla...

Here are the ornaments left over from last year. This year, I plan to add snowy fir trees (Christmas trees without ornaments) to them, so it will be a family or a single snowman, with a tree added on. I might even get wild and add Santa hats. Who knows? :)

Enjoy! Feedback welcome. :)

Box of varied ornies

Baby's First ornies... much more popular than I'd anticipated last year... by the time I'd managed to get more done during the show, the show was over. Sigh. Ah well... maybe this year! :) I have them in pink and blue, and a very few in lavendar, in case a baby's coming but you don't know what it's going to be. :P

Some personalized ones that never got picked up last year, and a reindeer, though she looks a lot more like a moose to me...

Just for you, Hrothny! :) And the personalized one... you can't see it here, but the family ball has two dogs on it, as well. THOSE I only do by special order. They're a pain in the patushki! :P But I'll do 'em if I need to. :)

A family of three beside a candy cane/peppermint candy ball. Everything's ready to go... I just have to sit and write names on them at the shows. :)

close up of a family of four on a frosted ball.

Another shot of the colors and stuff... and one of the balls reversed, so you can see the year on it. :)

Edited to add:
Pricing, since a couple of people have asked:
small balls- $2.50 These can hold one snowman each.
regular balls (those pictured above) and shatterproof- $5/each, whether personalized or not.
*if they have snowmen on them, the regular size will hold 1-4
larger balls- $8... will hold 1-8 snowmen or figures
Grandmother balls- $12... will hold a bunch.
What I normally do for these is put the Grandmother or Grandparents in the middle, regular sized, then put family groups on snow clouds surrounding them, so you can see basically the current family tree in one ornament. :) Then the year and possibly a message on the back of the ball. I'll have to make one of those up to take a picture of... just need to figure out who to use as an example! LOL
This size ball is also really good for teachers or office managers or bosses, since there's room for a good number of tiny snowmen on it.
I've also done one ball that had a large apple in the middle, for the teacher, and little apples all around for the students. :P

And i have one more shape that I'm going to try out this year, though I'm not sure yet what I'll put on it... it's kind of a cross between a pear and a teardrop shape. I'll have to get a pack of them to see how they work up. :P

So there ya go. That's what I've been selling for the past few years. I think since 2002, but I'm not positive. Eeep! I should check that out... might be 2003. All I know is that they are insanely popular at the Gaston Mall show. I'm really going to miss doing that show this year... I have so many people who've looked for me out there, and I really enjoy re-connecting with them. They always seem surprised when I remember them. I don't remember most names, but I certainly remember faces, and they're always happy when I do. :)

Ah well... if things work out at Sandy's show, maybe I'll have a whole new group of customers to remember next year. :)

Diane's making dinner, and I'm keeping out of the way. She's sick, but still insists on doing dinner. Sounds like she has the flu, so I'm steering clear! It would be my luck that I'd get sick the week of the only craft show I've got this year! :P
