i'm behind, nothing is new
the official countdown has begun, just 15 short days until i'm done with another year of school. mo has been tearing down the posters outside of our rooms and clearing out all of our living room decorations, signifying the end of our stay in social ecology 1052. it really is bittersweet because i've grown close to some of my housemates, but i really can't wait to get away from a specific few.
i'm going home this weekend and taking some of my junk with me so i'll have less to deal with when i move out. unfortunately, i don't really have a bedroom right now, or even a garage to store my stuff. my parents are expanding their bedroom by knocking down the wall between their room and the office, so my bedroom and the garage have become storage for the computers and have also become a closet for all of their clothes. my mom told me today she'll try to clear off my bed so i at least have a place to sleep.
i feel like i've lived in my bathing suit the last two weeks. any free afternoon i have has been spent at corona del mar or laying by the pool at the arc. the weather here has been absolutely gorgeous and i figure i'd better get my fill before i begin work in a few weeks where i'll be stuck inside a cubicle from 8-5 everyday. sunburn now so i'll be tan later? i'm going to get skin cancer with this mentality.
