Consignment vs. Ebay

I debated between e-bay and consignment and finally decided consignment. I just got my inventory of baby toys and things they are selling with the list of prices. The most I can get is half and I'm sort of disappointed. I'm trying to keep in mind that it's a LOT easier. No pictures. No monitoring. Now shipping. I keep reminding myself that if it all sells, it's $20 I didn't have before... but I'm not very confident right now. I think I'll save the rest for a garage sale later this summer.

So, what have other people experienced... which is better... garage sale, ebay, or consignment?
