I've been a busy bee with my business lately! I can't believe how fast the time flies by, and yet every day I still feel like there's more on my list that still needs to be done. It's kind of insane.

I've been really busy with the Map Locket Necklaces since their introduction a couple of months ago. I use vintage lockets for them, and I can only assume that at some point the supply will run out, so I try to stock up on them when I manage to find them!

As a smaller line, I decided to get some heart shaped lockets, and made a few Map Necklaces with those (although I'm going to be scouring for vintage heart lockets too! This aren't vintage, they are 'antiqued' which is an expedited aging process, basically.) They are cute, though. I'm making these on brass chain specifically since the cost of silver and gold has skyrocketed a lot in the past year, and it's only continuing to go up. I don't normally use anything else other than sterling or gold fill, but, I wanted some more affordable options, so this is one of them.

I've also been making a LOT more of the vintage dictionary illustration locket necklaces. I secretly want to keep this one, but, if I kept everything that I liked, I would have no inventory left. ;)

And of course, I have been working on a LOT of bridal pieces! Wedding season is quickly approaching and I'm trying to be well stocked. I have another custom piece to work on this week, it's the same as one of the designs I already have but a bit more on the "cream" side rather than white.

One of the newest pieces, more modern since it does not include vintage glass like many of the others do.

Here's one that DOES include the vintage glass beads. THe weight of this piece is pretty heavy due to the glass beads, and the pearls are also larger than the ones I typically use along the neckline, and I also used an ivory rose for this instead of white. It definitely has more of a "vintage" vibe to it and is a lot less dainty than what I often design.

I've also started making clay rose hair pins, but haven't listed them yet. I'm going to be working on that today. My plans for the next couple of months are to increase the bridal line (bracelets? more earrings?) and increase the line of some of the best sellers such as the rose earrings and bird nest necklaces. I just got in two new strands of pearls yesterday (yellow and aqua!) so I'm going to make a few of those today after I list the rose hair pins.

*Whew*! It's now 8:30am and I'm already tired. :) I feel like I need to get a ton done today because I "might" have jury duty tomorrow. I have to call tonight and find out if they need me. Hope everyone is having a good week!
