So, I've just listed my most elaborate and expensive item to date. I knew going into this that it was going to be a pricey one, because I wanted to load it up with gemstones, etc. Basically, I wanted a "Statement Piece" necklace. (If you don't know what that is, google it!) I'm really happy because it came out similar to what I was envisioning in my head for the past three (or more) weeks. Not including the whole designing aspect, the actual process took HOURS to make. It was really quite labor intensive!
The leaf on here is a real leaf, and is gorgeous. It's electroplated with copper, super shiny and just really nice to look at and to touch. Delicate but not entirely fragile, and definitely wearable.
I have about two dozen gemstones on here, to include Garnet, Citrine, Hessonite, and Smokey Quartz. I also have over a dozen freshwater pearls. I strung/knotted them on matching dark orange silk thread. :) (I love matching the thread to the pearls!)
All of the metal (chain, wire, etc.) on here is sterling silver. I love the really bulky chain that makes up the majority of this piece.
Even with all that's on here, it's amazingly lightweight.
Definitely a labor of love.. I'd really like to see someone own this piece and wear it somewhere special. :) I'll be making more over break, in "winter" type colors. Excited for that! I decided that I needed to expand my price point (and I'd already added enough lower priced items) so this style will be included in my higher-end designs, for those looking for something really beautiful and special.

I would have included them full size normally but the first two are pretty big and I didn't want to be that jerk to mess up everyone's friends page with a huge image. Anyway, it's one of my absolute favorite pieces so far!
