On Friday night my Mom showed up in the middle of one of her mental things. She looked really skinny, which always happens when she gets like this. She had thrown out her purse (including money and phone) and most of her clothes and was staying at a homeless shelter where she used to work. I have some experience with mental family members myself, so...I feel your pain.

Don't worry about the entertainment value of your journal entries. You shouldn't have to keep something like this all to yourself and put on a happy face.
