Matthew looked at the clock 1:24, two more periods to go, and since his next class was a lab, he really only had one more class left in the day. And even though it was only one more class, he didn't really feel like going. Matthew didn't get that much sleep, so exhaustion was finally getting to him, and he was beginning to find himself dozing off in his seat. The bell was going to ring any minute now signaling to go to the next class, so he needed to make a decision now on whether he was going to skip class or not.

In the end, Matthew decided to skip class after careful consideration. If he went, he would probably just fall asleep in the middle of class, and not learn anything anyway, and even if he did manage to stay awake, no teacher should want their student to be holding a Bunsen burner if they're only half awake and could possibly start a fire. So for everyone's safety, he would skip class.

When the bell rang, Matthew got up from his chair, grabbed his thing, and went to the vacant part of the building's staircase since he didn't feel like walking all the way to the student dorms. Pretty much as soon as Matthew got to the staircase, he threw his stuff down on the floor and took a spot leaning against a wall.

While he laid there lazily, Matthew half expected Allison to pop out of nowhere like she always did before whenever he skipped class. Allison would pretty much use any excuse she could to skip class. No matter where Matthew was, Allison always managed to find him: the rooftop, staircase, pool area, school courtyard, a vacant classroom, wherever. Allison claimed it was her heroic senses, since she was a heroine, and heroines need to find the people they care about at any given time in the chance of any no good doers were to come up and try to vanquish justice and liberty. She couldn't just say it was a twin thing, could she?

In those two periods, Allison never came. And Matthew slept in complete silence; not once was his peaceful slumber disturbed.

"Hey! Maple loving bastard! What the hell are you doing here?"

Until that.

Matthew begrudgingly opened his eyes to see one of the Italian twins, Lovino Vargas standing in front of him with his usual displeased look, and of course next to him stood his twin brother, Feliciano Vargas, who looked slightly apprehensive.

"What does it look like? I'm sleeping," Matthew replied coldly.

"Brother, I told you we shouldn't have bothered him," Feliciano said. "He was just having a siesta."

"Che, more like being a lazy ass like that stupid Spaniard," Lovino replied.

"Eh? But I thought you liked Antonio," Feliciano said, with a questioning tone.

"W-What?! As if I would like him," Lovino exclaimed.

"Are you sure?" Feliciano asked.

"Of course I'm sure you bastard! Why wouldn't I be sure of my feelings especially towards that smelly Spanish-tomato-loving bastard," Lovino retorted.

"What's with all the racket here?" Matthew heard from the top of the staircase. When he looked up he saw the Spaniard, Antonio Fernandez Carriedo had arrived on the scene as if almost on cue.

Where was everyone coming from? Didn't they have better things to do then annoy him? Matthew thought bitterly, as he slowly stood up.

"Nothing is going on, I was just leaving," Matthew stated, grabbing his stuff, and started his way down the stairs.

"Well, ok then," Antonio said hesitantly, as he watched Matthew descend down the staircase. It wasn't like he actually had something to say to Matthew, but somehow he got the feeling he should have probably talked to him. He knew Francis and Gilbert already have earlier this morning.

"Hey Mattie!" Antonio called out, and Matthew stopped walking down the steps and looked up towards Antonio's direction.

"I'm here for you just so you know," Antonio said.

"Ok…" Matthew replied, giving Antonio a strange look before continuing down the stairs. The next thing Matthew heard from Antonio was off in the distance; it was something about Lovino and a dress, and let's just say Lovino didn't like the idea very much since Matthew could still hear him screaming at the top of his lungs when he was outside the building about twenty yards away.

Usually Matthew liked to take a nice long walk; it gave him plenty of time to think, and even though more than ever Matthew knew he should be spending his time now to think about his situation. He didn't feel like it. The last thing he really wanted to do was to think since his thoughts would only swirl around a certain American twin sister, which was always the very source of all his troubles in both the past and present. Matthew got far more than his share of injuries as a child due to his sister's stupidity and lack of common sense.

Matthew's walk through the courtyard was short and brisk. There were a few guys who waved at him asking how he was, and Matthew gave simple one-word responses to them all. A few girls walked up to him, but he casually brushed them off telling them he wasn't feeling well, and continued on his way to the dorm.

When Matthew made his way into the dorm house, he was hoping that Toris wasn't there. Hopefully the polish boy, Feliks, Toris' best friend, took him on an unexpected shopping trip. They were in New York City after all. There is plenty for someone like Feliks to do around the town.

Going up the elevator, Matthew started shifting through his bag for his keys. When the elevator reached his floor, he finally found them and stepped out of the elevator and walked to his dorm room. And just as Matthew was about to stick the key into the door he noticed a package on the floor in front of the door. On top of the package was an envelope which had his name handwritten on it. Matthew could tell right away it was Allison's handwriting. It was pretty distinct after all. A mesh between print and script; her writing wasn't necessarily neat, but it wasn't sloppy, perfectly legible, and fairly big. Her laziness shown through her writing with her lack of dotting her "i"s, but at least she crossed her "t"s.

Matthew opened the door, and stepped inside, throwing the package onto his bed, and his school bag on the floor next to his desk, as he slumped onto his chair. Toris was nowhere insight, meaning he had the room to himself, and wouldn't have to deal with any further questioning… for now anyway.

Matthew reached into his bag, and dug out his textbooks. Whichever book he got out first, he decided he would work on that first. Unfortunately for him the first book turned out to be Math, and he wanted to slam his head onto his desk. He hated math. Matthew did not deny the usefulness of math, and was well aware of its importance, but he would much rather read a book, and decipher it's meaning, than use the quadratic formula to find x. But it's not like Matthew was horrible at math, he was a straight A student after all.

After staring at his textbook for a bit, and reasonably telling himself how whining gets no one anywhere, he started to work on the various equations his teacher assigned.

It took him about an hour to get through all the problems. Once he finished he slammed his textbook shut. He at least got the hardest homework assignment out of the way now. It should be smooth sailing from here. Matthew picked up his math textbook and placed it back inside his backpack, and took out another book. He pulled out his French textbook next and started answering problems from his workbook. Matthew always found French pretty easy, and hanging out with Francis all the time only made the subject ten times easier.

Matthew's mind began to drift in the middle of conjugating some "ir" verbs. He turned his chair around to face his bed and stared at the package Allison gave him. Curious of what Allison gave him, Matthew got up from his chair, and made his way back over to his bed. To say Matthew was surprised at the content inside the box when he opened it would be a serious understatement.

Once Matthew took off the top of the box it revealed his old polar bear stuffed animal from when he was younger. When he and Allison were four, he got this polar bear, which he named Kumajiro, while Allison got a white bunny, which she named White Dove. Matthew carried Kumajiro everywhere he went up until high school when he had his personality makeover.

Matthew noticed a letter inside the box, and picked it up. He unfolded the paper and began to read its contents.

Dear Mattie,

I noticed you were upset earlier today… ok Arthur noticed you were upset, and told me you were. I'm not sure why you are, and even though you say I'm a brainless kid, and too forceful, and get into fights too quickly, and how all my ideas are crazy I'm getting myself depressed now but even so, I'm still your sister, and I want to be there for you.

When you gave me Kumajiro, I know you told me to throw it away, but I kept it thinking you might want him back one day. I know I can't ever part with White Dove, so I'm giving him back to you know, just 'cuz I think you could use him right about now. For whatever reason that has you down.

I'm here for you bro,
Allison

When Matthew was done reading the letter he crumpled it in his hands, and tossed it into the trash and he made his way to the door. On his way out he grabbed his cell phone and keys, and didn't pay mind at all to the door slamming shut behind him.

He didn't care about the people staring at him when the door slammed shut. He just started running towards the girl's dormitory. While running, Matthew looked at his wristwatch. 7:41. He had exactly 19 minutes before the girls dorm would close and wouldn't let any boys in the building.

7:45 he reached the building.

"Matthew! It's almost curfew!" one of the dorm advisors called after Matthew.

"I'll only be a few minutes. I need to see Allie," Matthew yelled back.

Matthew made his way to the elevator, and waited for it impatiently.

7:48.

This is taking too long Matthew thought, and he made his way to the stairs, sprinting up, and skipping some of the steps.

7:52.

Matthew made it to Allison's floor, and stopped for a few seconds to catch his breath, but then continued to dart down the hallway to Allison's room.

7:53.

Matthew reached Allison's door, and knocked a few times.

Nothing.

He knocked again, and still nothing. Now he was beginning to worry. Surely she wouldn't have left school grounds. After standing there for a little while longer Matthew pulled out his keys. Allison had given him a copy of her dorm key, as he gave her his keys, at the beginning of the school year.

Matthew opened the door slowly, and slowly entered in the room, closing the door behind him. He looked around the room. Allison was able to luck out and get a room to herself this year, and it looked like she took advantage to that as much as she could. Sometimes he wondered if a girl lived in this room by looking at the complete mess she would make in it. Her garbage was so overflowed with burger wrappers that it's now spewing out of the can, magazines along with random articles of clothing scattered across the floor, and a few other miscellaneous items encompassed the floor.

Across the room, Matthew saw that Allison had a few picture frames by her bedside, and wanting to get a better look at them, Matthew decided to make his way across the room, which to be difficult since he could hardly see any of the floor, and knowing Allison she probably left a few dangerous presents on the floor for him to step on.

After narrowly making it through the death trap across the floor, Matthew was able to get a look at the pictures a bit better. One from when they were kids and their first day of kindergarten, the second one was taken over the summer when they went to the beach, and the final picture of her and Arthur together. Allison looked really happy with her signature million-watt smile, and had her arms around Arthur's neck. And even Arthur, who was usually like a grouchy old man looked pretty happy in the picture with Allison.

Just as Matthew was about to pick up the photo frame he heard a sigh come from his left. And upon further inspection he saw Allison there sleeping under the covers. Matthew pulled the covers down slightly just to get it off of Allison's face.

Matthew noted that Allison almost looked angelic in her sleep. It's hard to believe she was a rowdy, obnoxious, and slightly unsanitary girl by looking at her face.

He looked at Allison's sleeping face a bit longer, and slowly found himself being drawn to her lips, and before he could comprehend the situation, he was leaning down to Allison's face, closed his eyes, and he kissed her.

After kissing her for a good little while, Matthew's brain registered the situation, and quickly shot his head up took a few steps back.

And to Matthew's horror even more, he saw Allison slowly rise from the bed, and stare at him.

"M-Mattie?" Allison managed to say. Obviously she was in shock. Not that anyone could blame her, after all her brother did just kiss her after all.

Matthew just stared at Allison for a bit, unable to move or speak. The two siblings stood in complete and utter silence.

And right before Allison could say anything the school bell donged.

8:00.

And at that moment, Matthew darted out the room, and slammed the door shut behind him, running across the hall, down the stairs, and out of the building until he was a good distance away.

Looking at where his feet have taken him, Matthew found himself at the school courtyard, and sat in the gazebo, and silently cried to himself.

No matter how much he wanted to, Matthew realized he couldn't deny it any longer. Francis was right; there was a part of him that longed for his sister like a brother shouldn't.

"I'm in love with my sister."

Thanks for everyone who followed the fill on the kink meme, and/ or the comm. Also thanks for being patient for this update. I hope the wait was worth it. most likely not, but I tried my best

Now I have to go and work on other fics. I'm so behind in them all. >.>'''
