Character Name: Arthur Kirkland (England)
Character Tidbit: Arthur Kirkland is the personification of the country of The United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. He refers to himself as a gentleman, though he is quick to anger and doesn't treat his fellow nations with much respect. He was once a mighty empire who fell from grace, and though he has many scars from many battles, the worst one wasn't physical, but emotional. He still grieves the loss of America, having felt more attached to the boy than anyone in his life. He pretends not to care about him, calling him a git and mocking him for eating so much, but the truth is that deep down, Arthur does have the ability to love and care for other people and not simply control them as he once did as an empire.
He enjoys drinking (though he's very much a lightweight), and tends to become rather emotional when intoxicated. He can see magical creatures, which appear to be his only friends. He has a burning hatred for France, though the two can get along when they need to, as they have had a long history with one another.
I maaaaaaaaaay apply for America as well...but I'd feel dumb because I'm so short!!!

Character Name: Alfred F. (THE F STANDS FOR FREEDOM!) Jones (America)
Character Tidbit: Though he started out under the rule of the British Empire, America has grown to be one of the super powers of the world. He has a very large ego, though he doesn't mean to be rude or mean in any way. He is very much a dork at heart, loving things like science (his fans refer to him as "adorkable"). He has absolutely no idea how to read the atmosphere, and won't understand many things about the world outside of his country (since he is very self centered). He loves outer space, video games, fast food, quick draw, and inventing things. His best friend is an alien named Tony who lives in his basement.
Alfred has a generally cheery personality, though he is almost always loud and grates on the nerves of other countries. He's always looking to be the hero, even though his ideas are more than ridiculous (using a robot to try and block out the sun's rays to prevent global warming, for example). But, he has a heart of gold and is willing to help other nations when they are in trouble--that's what heroes do, you know!
