I heart NPR
It is Saturday. It is February. Guess what the temp is?!? 64...really 64 degrees. Tuesday it was 20. On a related note, I now have a cold. Nothing serious yet, just a run of the mill stuffy nose/slightly sore throat. I am hoping to kick it before the end of the month (road trip!!).
I took a day off yesterday and spent it with Colleen. It felt really good to take a day and just 'do'. We saw the movie "He's Just Not That In To You" I was pleasently surprised. Definatly a 'chick flick' in the purest form of the genre. The editing was bad, but the story good. I have come to the conclusion that I don't like Kevin Connelly. He has no acting skills, nor does he have a pretty face.
We are taking Alex to the park this afternoon, for the first time. I couldn't take him last fall because of the sunscreen issue. I have a feeling it will be muddy, but it will be fun :)
Teresa called yesterday and offered to come here for Valentine's Day and take care of Alex. Not sure how I feel about that. The last time she took care of him she didn't change his diaper at all.
