I went from having something everyday last week to having nothing scheduled this week. Tomorrow I have a couple of small errands to run and hopefully ship a package. Eric will be gone from Tuesday morning to Thursday night to FL for a bunch of meetings on an airforce base. It is a huge deal, since he would be a civilian on a military base and since 9-11 that has been curtailed. I have to admit I am not pleased he is going. I understand it is a giant oppertunity for him, but I am a bit freaked out about being alone with the baby that long. He has worked for Boeing for 6 years and they never sent him anywhere, but as soon as he has a baby, they want to send him places. This is the second trip he has had since Alex was born, the first trip fell through at the last moment. I just wished the timing was better.
On a different note, my Grandfather will be 89 this week. It is hard to think of him as that old. He fell while getting dressed a coupld of weeks ago and miraculously only had a slight concussion. He is walking with a cane again, but was not seriously injured. In fact, he is in Salem, IL, today seeing some kind of show.
