You know, I haven't written an open post about what I'm up to in my writing lately, so I think I will.
As anybody who's been watching Daydreamer has guessed, I'm stuck there. Argh. I've written several one-shots, though, and I think they're pretty good.
I will finish Daydreamer.
I am, at this time, working on Anne's second year at Hogwarts, which is under the working title of "Daydreamer, Invisible." Harry isn't the only one making discoveries that year. Poor Anne. But she's not going to have as lonely a time as her first year, if you're wondering if she's always going to be stuck alone.
I am not going to put "Daydreamer, Invisible" up until I have the whole thing not only done, but stored in multiple places, so I don't suffer through another horrible loss-of-disk-and-entire-story as I did with Daydreamer. So when you see it come up, fear not--it's already done. Smile broadly. Enjoy the reading.
I have actually done a little bit in Anne's fourth year, which of course is Harry's fourth year, too. And I have some thoughts on Anne's third year, too. Well, I have thoughts on all Anne's years at Hogwarts, but I have a specific scene in mind for her third year. Remember that Lupin had to teach Defense Against Dark Arts to the Slytherin students, too, including the boggart. And unlike the movie, the books seem to imply Slytherin and Gryffindor students take that class separately from each other.
Speaking of the fourth year, have any of you wondered where everyone got their dress robes? Well, I mean, besides Ron. No big deal to Harry; he had enough for Molly to get him a nice set. And guys don't worry about those kind of things as much (exept Ron, but that's his problem).
But girls really think about dress robes. They worry about them. And as you will have noticed, not all girls are nice.
You probably already know where my stories are, if you're here, because you either know me or you found my link at MNFF. But just for grins, here's a link to my author's page:
http://fanfiction.mugglenet.com/viewuser.php?uid=26071 So there's an update. Fear not; Anne is not abandoned. I'm just avoiding another fiasco of lost disk.
