My brother remains an asshole. (Homophobia and bonus transphobia)
For the record, yes, he knows I'm bisexual.
David: *playing some army game on xbox live* "God damn fags!"
Me: "Could you please not say that?"
D: "Say what?"
M: "Fags. It's hurtful."
He then ranted at me and made the following paraphrased points:
1. I'm too sensitive.
2. Fag doesn't mean that anymore (LOLOK)
3. He didn't mean it in an offensive way so it's ok.
Then this morning. I'd had music playing on the computer while I made pancakes. As he and another brother of mine arrived downstairs to eat, a Lady Gaga song came on (Bad Romance to be specific). He then told me to "turn that shit off" and "I can't believe you like Lady Gaga."
I asked him what's so wrong with Lady Gaga.
D: "She's a freaky transvestite."
M: "And what's so wrong with transvestites?"
D: "Nothing. But she has a penis, and that freaks me out."
I've decided I need to find an awesome person with a sibling. Then I can trade my sibling for that awesome person and have an awesome family that doesn't make me want to facepalm every 8 seconds.
I mean seriously. He also told me that Mormons are the most "tolerant, loving religion." I want to punch him sometimes.
