There's been changes to the general schedule. Classes are now 60 minutes long instead of 72, and there are 6 each day instead of 5. All normally off-campus classes are now on-campus. And here's the kicker. Most classes are now year-long instead of 2 trimester, and you MUST keep the same teacher.
All. Damn. Year.
Seriously, why. I HATED some of my teachers and was so glad to be out of the class. They provided a toxic, racist, homophobic and antisemitic environment. And some of the teachers just plain can't teach.
Also this prevents me from taking all the classes I want. I may have to take something online, I NEED physics.
Anyway, here's my planned schedule. All classes last through the entire year.
AP Literature
AP US Government
CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) program
CNA (it's a two class period long class)
French II
AP Calculus
Alternates:
AP Physics
Psychology
Sociology
Zoology Invertabrate
Space Science
Yeah, I'm probably batshit insane. But, AP Gov is easier than normal, it's more discussion than busywork. AP Calc, well, I need more math and it's either that or AP Stats (since I'm on the top level of math, those are my only remaining options). Calc is better for physics. AP Lit because I cannot stand normal English classes. CNA because it'll make college so much easier to get into. And French because I want to learn it, AND it helps with college.
Still. FML. FML. FML.
Sidenote: Got a 9 on the AP scale for my English essay that I BSed! Whoo!
I'm going to miss science...
