I has a sad.
So today has sucked. Really, really badly.
1. The guy who I considered the VP of the GSA turned out to be a complete insensitive bastard.
That 16 year old girl who was killed last week. They held a balloon releasing ceremony for her. When they mentioned this in the computer lab, said guy started bitching. He went on and on about how the ceremony was inconvenient cause now he'd have to bike around it to get home.
Me: "A girl died."
Him: "So?"
Me: "You're complaining you have to bike around it?"
Him: "Well, I never met her so I don't really care about her ceremony."
Okay. Really. I never met her, I saw her a few times in the hall. Fine. But god, that ceremony had her family there and her friends, it wasn't for her it was for them and their loss! Jeebus.
Turns out he's also failing his classes. Now I need to find a way to tell him he is NOT gonna be VP. Even if he is the most loyal member. Especially since I've realized the only reason he's in the club is cause he's bi and it benefits him. If he were straight he'd be making fun of the club.
2. Turns out the reason no one came to the meeting? Because of the girl who founded it last year. They don't like her. One guy said he would never support it cause he wanted to crush her dreams. And since I considered her a close friend they don't like me either.
I can understand why some people don't like her. But seriously, to shun the club that no longer has to do with her cause you didn't like her?
Then again, people treated me like crap for being friends with her last year too.
3. Can't take the EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) course next year that I've been preparing so hard for because school funding is so suckish. Now my chances of med school are down.
4. Also, 5 poster casualties and a bunch turned upside down. Although I've kind of stopped caring by now.
