feeling so.so.so.so.so.so.so dead. Last 2 days has been eventful days. i mean, how could it not when I have to bear with 28 pesky little 6~7 year olds for 8am to 6pm everyday. *needs to find a wall to bang into*
Monday is always known as "get-to-know" day.. kids get to know each other, leaders and teachers spend the day trying to remember kid's names.. squeezing in games and lessons all into the same tiny timeslots. This my 3rd year doing the camp but the first time dealing with the pri 1 kids, so I was so paranoid they would burst out and cry anytime. :( I could hardly bring myself to scream at them either. And kids are hyper. They have TOO much energy, coz by the end of day 1, I was dead tired. My co-leader and the teacher in charge of the class also all like dying fishes also.
Nothing much happened in class methinks. But the bus ride to school in the morning was rather amusing. As you guys know, I'm a bus leader, so I have to take care of the kids who take the bus to school too. And well, the bus driver we got on monday was a total useless person. >_< She doesn't know the route at all! Take so many wrong turns, made the entire bus 20 minute late for classes. I was almost going to have a stroke already. >_< worst part was that the annoying bus driver refused to listen to my advice and chose to take the expressway instead (where we were stuck for over 1/2hr).. I was like.. *rolleyes* hello? Just because I'm only a leader doesn't mean I don't know how to get from one place in the East to another lor! I didn't live my 19 years as a tortoise, I know which routes can take, which cannot lor! stupid bus driver, almost got me scolded. Oh well, got a different bus driver today anyways *yay*
OKay, I must talk about today, like how I felt like a MAID for all those annoying kids on our "outing" to Bukit Batok Nature Park. I mean, they were like going "teacher, can help we take my water bottle out of my bag?", "teacher! Can help me hold my clipboard.", etc. by the tens lor. I was so tempted to scream at them to do these things themselves. and the worst thing, these kids are horribly pampered! There were proper paths to walk at the park, and they were complaining about having to walk on "this kind of ground". *not amused*. And after walking about 200metres, they were like.. "I'm tired already! When are we going back?".. 200m!! terrible! Tomorrow's outing is to a biscuit factory. Hopefully that will be more peaceful. :( [Random: A joke the teacher of another class told us. She was asking the class "Who does the housework?" The answer was supposed to be "human beings", the kids all answered "maid".. She almost died. >_<" ]
On a completely different note..
*pulls hair out* NUS, or Aust Uni? :( Arts and Social Science or Accounting? Cheaper or more expensive? *bangs head against wall* damn. I hate making decisions.
ariebeth is right, I think I just need someone to decide for me.. *wailss*
