so i just successfully made the most depressing song of life

its amazing how much power simple vibrations can have over a person's emotions...

an entire outlook can be shifted based on a few simple notes....

has to be the right song for the right person, of course.

which makes me feel slightly sorry for all those radio kids out there, because chances are they will never find that song.

leaving something like your listening experience indefinitely up to a third party is never a good idea.

actually, now that i think about it...leaving anything indefinitely up to a third party is a bad idea.

what about your heart?

can you leave that up to a third party?

and if you can, how indefninite is that leaving going to be?

(i guess that depends on the context)

but how much control do they have...

after all, if its love do you really have a choice?

and can you ever take back full control?

i suppose you could after the love has been drained out

but what is love?

if its just a connection, can you love an object?

or a particular sound?

or does it have to be a two way connection for actually be LOVE?

and if so, can you never truely love somebody until they love you back?

can you love post its on a wall?

sure they're inanimate, but they represent something

at some point someone had to transfer that ink onto its yellow surface

and wasn't that love?

or was it just an independent action that has nothing to do with love except the representation thereof?

can an object hold over your love like a bank?

free for you to come withdraw whenever you please?

if that's the case, then what are its limits?

or do you have an indefinite balance?

or is there even a balance to begin with...

keeping in mind everyone knows you cannot LOVE an inanimate object..

so is this 'false love' just triggering the memory of an emotion?

what if you share a deeper connection with the words on the page than just words on a page

what if you connect with those words..

and if the words live on in your memory long after the ink fades away, does the love live on?

the connection is still there, even if it is by default...is it not?
