so much has gone on in the past 3 weeks that i won't have the energy to type it all but here's a shorter version.
MOCK TRIAL TEAM TIED FOR 3RD AT STATE!!!!!!! WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
we beat out every team from the top ten last year except for Tivy, including all of the law magnet schools in Houston and Dallas. Then in that same moment of tention last year where we were oh so disappointed, we were in the final four!! record 5-0 undefeated. we went to the big dance in the big federal courthouse where the judging had to have been rigged. the girl attourney on their team forgot her opening speach and ran out of time! time violation! but they won anyway blahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
We are the champions, my friend.
HOUSTON MISSION TRIP my class traveled to h-town where we stayed in an old crack house for four nights and served homeless people and took little underprivelaged black children to the rodeo to see Kenny Chesney. so much drama, so much fun. too many stories to tell.
DURANGO, COLORADO was soooooooooooooooooo sick. (which is the new word from the snowboarders in Inferno snowboard rental shop) busted the knees and claire busted her elbow but it was so worth it. spent time with little mary and anne, my adopted little sisters, and the fellas as well. spring break '05 forever.
BACK TO REALITY. this week has been crazy. yesterday we noticed our dear friend erin was missing, but so was her stuff in her locker. today she came to say goodbye. 3rd person gone from our grade this year. everyone wrote her letters and hugged her for like 2 and a half hours after school let out. we won't see her or talk to her for at least a year. they're whole family is going to kentucky. picking up, two brothers out of UT, and moving. it's really heavy stuff that shouldn't ever have to happen. please keep her and her family in prayers.
Erin - we will miss u soo much but it's not goodbye. it's just a hello. love you.
