Adventures of a weasel husband
Got a drunk but happy phone call from my husband last night. He has hooked up and is traveling now with a hippie couple from Ucluelet. They live on Quadra Island and Joel is having a great time hanging out with them. I can't remember their names but supposedly the guy is the friendliest guy Joel has ever met. This guy makes friends faster and easier than anyone that Joel has ever met. They are drinking and travelling and having a great time. They are going snorkling today and then travelling to somewhere that the two hippies have friends and then Joel is going to call me from there and let me know what his plans are. I can never remember the names of the places where he is or where he is going. He is having a great time though. The best thing about this trip for Joel from my point of view is that he has finally learned to relax. He says that he has finally found the peace in not doing anything and is learning how to get to that state faster and easier. I hope that it lasts after he comes home. I was worried about him because the last time I had talked to him, he talked about coming home early. Not that I wouldn't love to see him, I'm starting to miss him more every day, but I wanted him to stay and take advantage of the time and the opportunity that he isn't going to have again for a while. Now he is taking full advantage of the time and I am thrilled for him. The couple that Joel is hanging with are going to come up and meet me after the baby is born and party it up with me too. I guess Joel has been talking about me a lot and they are looking forward to meeting me. Just thought I would let you all know that Joel is safe and happy and having a great time.
