Berkeley
Okay it's late, well at least for me, and my fingers are cold so you will have to wait for the full story. For now you get the abridged.
Went to Berkeley today avec peeps. It was me and simon, robert, david, chelsea, nicole erin, other peeps. Went to crappy music store, then went to Ameoba (spelling?) and picked up two used vinyls as well as a new copy of Escape by Kay Cee. It came on two records seeing as it had the song plus 6 fucking remixes of it! Pizz0wned. The other two were some mix by DJ Tiesto and this one called Genetic Stress. It's so fucking cool. Asked the guy in Ameoba about DJ shop that Qrisp told me about. He told me of two, Skills, and Primal. We found skills, but never found primal. Skills was the one Qrisp was talking about. It kicks major fucking ass. There were four sets of turntables set up in a sqaure in the middle of the store, plus a way better Vinyl selection than Ameoba. WAY better. They had a bunch of progressive trance!!! *drools* Plus like any other genre ever. They had breakbeats too.
Before that, outside of Ameoba, when we were looking at the stand selling patches and books on pot and every other drug, a cool thing happened. These two cars, one a black SUV blasting rap that ONLY white guys listen to, and the other a suped up rice rocket with the pimped out spoiler and all, were at the light reving thier engines and making to race. The asian guy in the passenger seat of the rice rocket was making all sorts of gestures at the other car. When the light hit green the 1337 azns took off, and the SUV didnt even move. Then a cop took off up the lane after the azns and pulled em over for a ticket and some mad full body cavity searches. It was sooo 1337.
Other than that, we wandered. I tried to find a public bathroom for like an hour before we found ut that Berkeley HAS no public bathrooms, and the ones that are there are for customers only. I was already broke after buying vinyl and pizza. I was so owned. Simon bailed me out by buying orangina somehwere tho. Thanks Ray. Also, Erin likes the Daft Punk and Eiffel 65 songs i made her listen to, and drinks those black pearl tapioca tea things.That coupled with the fact that she likes DDR and insists on playing standard, makes her a officially a cool person.
We got lost on the way back and ended up on the 80 heading east. When we got back we met up with Shane and Simon to go hang out at Chelsea's. A bunch of guys at Chelsea's house, her being the only girl. It was good times. On the way to there, I went with Shane and Steven, with Steven driving. We headed out towards China camp first, so that we could drive really slow and wait for people to try to pass us, then speed up when they do. It was so funny I almost pissed my pants.
Okay and what's up with all these people going "Clubbing" these days. Well okay its two people, but who knows how many more. Do they even know what clubbing is all about? Oh well.
