Ok wow. I have a lot to update right now. So camp was fricken amazing, no suprises there. We had some interesting times with the four seniors (Have you ever? Would you Rather? Are either of these games coming to mind?) and all of our sweet first timers. You guys are amazing and I hope your first year was great! I got to spend a lot of time thinking and talking to people about how hectic life will be when college starts and it's gonna be rough, but I'm going to take Bonnie's advice and become a leader in my second semester of college. By then I should have my feet under me and be able to work that with basketball (if I make the team!). But I know that will be a good time.
Then there is this boy who is a neighbor of mine. I've known him from school, but never really got to know him. Come to find out, he lives around the block. So we've hung out a couple of times and today he was over at my house, like, all day. So all of the sudden he busts out with "OH yeah, Heather, by the way, I really like you." Now he is dropping hints all over the place about how serious he is about us dating. Like, he keeps asking if he has a chance. The problem? He is only gonna be a senior next year. And I don't like him like that. Ok so there is two problems.
Basically what I'm asking for is advice. How do I tell the kid that I don't want to be anything more than friends with him without leading him on or hurting his feelings? UGH! I hate this. Ok so comment back!
One more thing: to anyone who is reading this and didn't get an invite, my graduation party is as follows:
