(no subject)
What a day at work. Got a vistit from an auditor, she was there for about 4 hours. Stupid me yesterday came home with £80 in my pocket that I was meant to get change with at the Post Office but didn't get time to go! Must have looked well dodgy haha. She knew I wasn't just borrowing it though cos I had two and a half grand in the safe of my own money after selling my little car yesterday!
So that was fun. But thats not all, my boss came in with her boss... I've been shitting myself since she mentioned they might be in a few days ago. She told me not to worry though as they'd only stop in if they had time. Fucking buggers came to me first!
It wasn't as bad as I was expecting, in fact he was very complimentary. Plus the fact we were top of the district last week probably helped. I think I made a right tit of myself though... He was on about a 20% something or other in wine sales and I thought he said increase so I was babbling on about repeat customers and good service etc. Bloody idiot. If i'd understood properly I would have blamed the delivery issues the company has been having. People got fed up of coming in and finding we didn't have what they wanted (through no fault of our own might I add!) and they've gone elsewhere.
At least he got to see the Ivy shit in my storeroom and the ridiculous of surplus shit they send us so now they will both be sorted.
I've got an appraisal soon, just had all the self assessment stuff though and i'm scared. I'm gunna rate myself so badly and feel bummed out now. Apparently it doesn't affect whether I get a pay rise or not which is good haha. I'm doing well in there, the stats show it, but my boss is always picking up on niggly shit so it just makes me feel as though i'm doing a bad job when I'm really not.
Ah well, that was a long load of babbling. I should start looking for a new job really but I'm tempted to stay put cos I know that shop is probably going to be friggin amazing sometime in the near future. I dunno if I can hold out another year just for that though, plus if I do I might get stuck there lol. I dont wanna rot away in there!
