life moves fast
well its another tuesday, class in the late morning. turned in the first part of about 5 estimates that we have on a house. the first one was the concrete and rebar, and now we have to estimate the first floor and garage. lol most of our class skipped today, they didnt even call in. so it was just us 4 out of the 13 thats supposed to be there.. but the day went quick and we were out an hour early../babe came by for lunch, she wanted to go home forlunch so we went to her house. but we took too long and she didnt have enough time to drop me off at my house, she wanted to park at school and have me drive home, but it was such a nice day i opted to be let out near caseys and walk the rest like i used to before i was 16. it was nice walking the ol' path. lots of memories./ jeff called and wanted to play pool. so we played till 2 because i wanted to go back home and work on my resume for my new job im applying for.// finished my resume and handed it in just now./ i hope i get a call someday soon.// 4 years at priced right. dang. i would of never thought i would of lasted that long there. alot happens in 4 years./ talked to my dad, told him when im out of school, and maybe ill be re shingleing the garage in may. it shouldnt take long. im kinda looking forward to it. my first real carpentry job. and i get to do it on my own./ i guess its weird that a guy enjoys doing so many things on his own, but in some sense it just feels right./ ive always been the underdog, and the young one. ive always had to watch and not allowed to do anything. but now its my turn and i just want people to see that i can do things myself., dont get me wrong, i love pointers, or options or constructive critisism, new ways to do things. its whats carpentry is all about.. sure theres time old traditional ways to do things, but everyday theres something new to try or do that just either makes things a pain in the ass to do or a heck of alot easier./// life moves by fast, enjoy whats present because in a blink of an eye your a year older....
